This set was developed over the course of one month living in the mountain town of Pokhara, Nepal. The main inspirations for these pieces were treks in the Himalayas, the nature of change, and spiritual imagery in the artist's surroundings.

Piece Inspirations / Creation Spaces
Created during a solo trek in the Panchase region of Nepal. Center depicts the view outside the guesthouse window
(left photo).
Gift piece for a guesthouse the artist stayed at during her solo trek. Center is modeled after a photo of the guesthouse with the Himalayas in the background (upper left). Bottom left photo shows Mattu, the daughter of the guesthouse owners, holding the finished piece.
Inspired by a photo the artist took during her Mardi Himal trek, which includes her favorite Himalayan mountain: Machhapuchhre, Nepali for "fishtail," visible at the right in the photo.
The creation space for pieces "Dreamcatcher," "Charge," "Sri Yantra," and "Compassion": Juicery Cafe in Pokhara, Nepal. The artist's lakeside creative haven and inspiration zone.
