"Crystal" Original Mandala

"Crystal" is an original artwork inspired by these incredibly special wonders of nature.  These pink crystals in particular hold a unique place in my heart.  A few years ago, I got the chance to go to a salt flat in Trona, CA when these pink Halite crystals were free to collect for one weekend only.  I used my pick to turn over the lake-top salt and see if there were crystals underneath, a breathtaking experience as crystal worlds below us were revealed.  Needless to say, their inspiration stuck with me.
